Polish Phrases
Below are some useful Polish phrases, the official phonetics are a bit tongue twisting for most none Poles.
I find many of the official phonetics impossible for Westerners so I have included in the last column my own version, which is simpler. When I first came to live and work in Poland I had to deliver several speeches, including my wedding address. This I did with the help of friends and my own written phonetics. OK the Polish wasn't very good, but everyone understood me. In fact my translator took my speech notes and used them in her lectures.
I apologise to any Polish language officianardo's but I found this helped me to communicate giving me time to study better Polish using the Pimsleur Course. Here are some Polish phrases to get you started.
